The most important thing PR people need to know about the media in 2010

At last week’s PRSA Colorado luncheon, we asked a few of our media panelists (or tablists, as PRSA Colorado President Elisabeth Monaghan dubbed them, since it was a roundtable discussion): What is the most important thing PR people need to know about the media in 2010? Here are a few of the replies.

Misty Montano, Assignment Editor, CBS4 Denver

Rory Schmalzried, Assignment Editor, KMGH 7 Denver

Nadia Gedeon, Assignment Editor, 9News Denver

We also added lots of photos to our Flickr stream. You can join the PRSA Colorado group on Flickr and add your own event photos or tag people you know in the ones that are already there. Special thanks go to Suzanne Trantow, Sandy Hensley and Cara Crifasi for taking pictures and recording interviews.

  • GREAT insights! This reflects exactly why I am focused on building relationships, and how I tailor my pitches. Great collection of videos, thanks.

I missed the luncheon due to client work, so I truly appreciate the follow-up. Thanks for posting the videos! I think we all knew what they would say, but it’s good to hear it from horses’ mouths… I’m not calling them horses.

Great site and I really appreciate how PRSA has evolved to utilize new technologies. I am outside Denver and couldn’t attend meetings so great to hear these clips. THX!
