How will PR knowledge, skills and abilities change in the future?
Each PRSA chapter sends a defined number of delegates (based on chapter membership) to a national assembly meeting, held in conjunction with the international conference. At this conference assembly delegates have traditionally deliberated and voted on matters pertaining to PRSA governance. In 2009 the Assembly voted to expand the responsibilities of assembly delegates, moving them to more of a leadership role in defining and acting upon issues of concern to the public relations profession.
Colorado will send five delegates to the 2010 Assembly in October. We have adapted a survey created by PRSA National so that we might best serve the interest of our Colorado members at this meeting. Please take some time to respond to this brief survey so we know what issues most concern you.
If you would like to further discuss the role of the assembly delegate, or a particular issue facing public relations, please contact one of your delegates: Lisa Cutter at cuttercom@earthlink.net, Cherie Orwig at orwig.c@vnacolorado.org, GG Johnston at johnstongg@gmail.com, Sarah Rasmussen at srasmussen@mgacommunications.com, or Kim Sporrer at kim.sporrer@boulderhumane.org.
Click here to open the survey in a new window.
