Anna Lindsey
University of Texas student Anna Lindsey had a great write up on spending her spring break in Denver getting to know some of the different agencies in town including Linhart PR, Metzger Associates, Turner Public Relations and Xstatic Public Relations. Anna had an excellent trip, and it sounded like Denver made a lasting impression. She also included a wrap up of the PRSA Shadow Day.
As part of the PRSA Colorado Student Shadow Day, I spent the day at Xstatic Public Relations in Denver. I shadowed Sasha Tinkham, who filled me in on daily agency life and took me to the Curtis Hotel for the PRSA luncheon. I also met with Stacey Sepp, who told me a little about the public relations industry as a whole, as well as Xstatic’s focus on healthcare and wellness. Then I spoke with J.D. McCartney who told me about networking as a lifestyle, and not as a means to an end. I had a great Shadow Day at Xstatic, and I am so thankful for such gracious hosts.
