I realize the last thing any of us wants to think about right now is New Year’s resolutions for 2010. (I, for one, am not quite finished decking my halls with boughs of holly.) The Emergency Services Public Information Officers of Colorado – affectionately known as ESPOIC – has posted a Call for Speakers for its 2010 conference, “Riding the Wave of Change”, in Vail, Colo., May 13-14. This is a great opportunity to share your knowledge and expertise [...] For the seventh year, CyberAlert will award at least 15 public relations grants to not-for-profit organizations in the U.S. and Canada. Each grant consists of one full year of free press clipping/media monitoring service from CyberAlert, a value of $3,000 to $4,500. CyberAlert is accepting grant applications until Dec. 31 and will announce grant recipients in early [...] Tomorrow night, PRSA Colorado will host its annual Holiday Party at Dazzle (tickets still available, hint hint). It’s one of my favorite events of the season; a chance to catch up with friends, and room full of some of the most outgoing people in the Front Range.
