Resolve to Get Involved!

I realize the last thing any of us wants to think about right now is New Year’s resolutions for 2010. (I, for one, am not quite finished decking my halls with boughs of holly.) I do think the resolution I propose for 2010 might appeal to PRSA members looking for something more next year.

If you aren’t [...]

Holiday party full of prizes

Tomorrow night, PRSA Colorado will host its annual Holiday Party at Dazzle (tickets still available, hint hint). It’s one of my favorite events of the season; a chance to catch up with friends, and room full of some of the most outgoing people in the Front Range. And in a year that has been so tough on so many businesses, we are astounded by the generosity of the community we live in; our sponsors have donated prizes from some of the best hotels, restaurants, museums and performances around.

You’ll have to show up to win, and to find out exactly what each prize is, but I can give you some hints and thank our sponsors at the same time.

“Please Make New PR Matter:” My Tweetup with Brian Solis

Last week, I attended my first PRSA tweetup with social media guru thought leader Brian Solis.

Liz Pope and Brian Solis at Tryst Tweet-up

I was expecting a rock star, an untouchable or a celebrity, but instead, I met Brian. His down-to-earth mentality and genuinely friendly demeanor really spoke to what social media is all about – [...]
